Today, Thursday the 13th of May 2021, at 12:30, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain warmly received representatives of the ‘Greek Cypriot Association of the London Metropolitan Police’ to express His gratitude for their assistance throughout the recent period of Holy Week and Pascha. Their support allowed for the implementation of all of the governmental directives at the parishes of the Archdiocese and safeguarded the health and the safety of the faithful. The Association was represented by Thomas Haji-savva (President), Costas Ioannou (Assistant-Secretary), Kyriacoulla Georgiou (Vice-Secretary) and Zafronis Lawrence (Assistant Treasurer).
The cordial meeting, hosted by His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas, comprised of discussions relating to issues and concerns of mutual interest. The meeting was followed by lunch and concluded at 15:00.
