On Monday, October 11, 2021, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas received His Grace Bishop Makarios of the Eritrean Church of the United States of America. His Grace realized this courtesy visit while in the United Kingdom establishing a new Diocese for Europe.
The meeting concluded following fraternal discussion on matters of mutual interest and with the reaffirmation of both Church’s willingness to work together for the greater good. Also in attendance was HG Bishop Maximos of Melitene, Mrs. Lul Seyoum, Executive Director of the International Centre for Eritrean Refugees and Asylum Seekers, as well as clergy members of the Coptic Church in the United Kingdom.
