Holy Pentecost at the Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom

On the Great and Holy Feast of Pentecost, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided at the Matins and celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom at the historic Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom in Bayswater, London. The V. Rev. Theonas Bakalis, Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne and Cathedral Dean and the V. Rev. Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Director of the Office of the Archbishop, and the Reverend Archdeacon Dr. George Tsourous served with The Archbishop.

Following the Divine Liturgy, as is the customary practice, the Great Vespers of Kneeling was celebrated. Hundreds of faithful from all across London were in attendance. At the conclusion of the Sacred Services, His Eminence greeted those in prayerful attendance wishing health, spiritual prosperity, peace, and many years to each and all; especially, to the faithful people of God in the United Kingdom.
