On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Greek Orthodox Church of Nektarios in Battersea, London. The V. Rev. Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Chancellor, and the Rev. Protopresbyter Christodoulos Christodoulou, also con-celebrated the Divine Liturgy. During His Eminence’s homily, he referred to the difficult life the Saint endured as well as to his countless miracles, praying that this dearly beloved Saint of our Church will cure humanity also from the spiritual diseases of hatred, envy, maliciousness, and strife that afflict the world today. Dozens of faithful from throughout the London area attended the Liturgy, during which, the holy relics of St. Nektarios were offered for veneration. Following the Service, the community hosted a generous reception for all present.
