On 3rd May 2023, Yelena Popovic, the talented director and producer of the recently released film “Man of God,” met with His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas at the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain in London. The Archbishop joined His Grace Bishop Raphael of Ilion, Rev. Presbyter Christodoulos Christodoulou and Archdeacon Dr George Tsourous.
Yelena Popovic, known for her outstanding work in writing and producing “Man of God,” has brought the inspiring life of Saint Nektarios to the big screen. The film portrays the life of Nektarios, who passed away in 1920 and was officially recognised as a Saint in the Orthodox Church in 1961. His story of unwavering faith, kindness, and determination has resonated with audiences worldwide.
