Archbishop Nikitas’ Archpastoral Visit to Scotland

His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas, between Monday the 12th until Thursday the 15th of April 2021, travelled to the communities of the Archdiocese in Scotland.

Following His Eminence’s arrival into Glasgow, He presided over the service of the Great Compline at the Greek Orthodox Community of St Luke the Evangelist.

The next day His Eminence visited the community of St Nicholas in Dunblane, followed by the community of St Andrew in Edinburgh, where He presided at the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts.

His Eminence was warmly welcomed and accompanied by His Grace Bishop Raphael of Ilion throughout his travels in Scotland, as well as the reverend clergy and the esteemed archons and lay leaders of the communities.

In each of the communities His Eminence dedicated particular time to meeting and dialoguing with the youth, the young families and congregants of the parishes.
