On Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the historic Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom in Bayswater, London, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided at the 40 Day Memorial Service for the late Metropolitan Kallistos Ware of Diokleia at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy.
The V. Rev. Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Director of the Office of The Archbishop, the Rev. Archdeacon Dr. George Tsourous and the Rev. Dn. Stephen Ireland celebrated the Sacred Services with His Eminence.
Immediately following the Divine Liturgy, Archbishop Nikitas accompanied by Rev. Dn. Stephen Ireland departed for the Queen City for the monthly meetings of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. His Eminence will be a member of the Synod until early 2023.
