OPENING OF THE SCHOOL OF BYZANTINE MUSIC
2022-2023
To the Teachers, Students and Commissioners
of the School of Byzantine Music.
My dear ones,
I hope that you all had a pleasant and restful summer and that you have returned with great appetite for the lessons and requirements of the School of Byzantine Music of our Holy Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.
The School will open for the new Academic Year 2022-2023 on Monday 5th of September 2022.
Lessons will start on Monday 12th of September 2022.
The Blessing for the New School year will take place on Monday 19th of September 2022 at 7pm at the premises of Panagia (Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos) in Wood Green, by His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain.
After the Blessing service, coffee and refreshments will be offered in the hall of St Barnabas Church.
I kindly ask everyone to register early or if possible, in September and settle the financial obligations to our School.
The wish would be for every Community of our Holy Archdiocese to have a beginner’s class and annex of the School of Byzantine Music.
I wish you all a Happy and Blessed New Year and success in the work of our School.
