Beloved in the Lord,
Considering the devastating earthquakes and the humanitarian crises in Turkey and Syria, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain has requested that an extraordinary collection be made this Sunday, 12th February 2023, at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, to aid our brothers and sisters in need. All the funds gathered will be conveyed only through the ecclesiastical channels, and not individuals, in order to assure the utmost transparency and accountability, as they will be used specifically for this purpose.
The special collection may be sent by bank transfer or cheque. Please specify “Earthquake” in the reference.
As is the past, all the information (parish and donations) will be posted on the Archdiocesan website.
