On Sunday, 17th November 2024, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom. Concelebrating with him were the Very Rev. Archimandrites Nephon Tsimalis and Theonas Bakalis, the Rev. Prof. Dr. Nikitas Banev, and Rev. Dr. George Samoutis (M.D.).
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence, in response to a unanimous request from the Wardens’ Committee, announced the appointment of the Very Rev. Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Protosyncellus, as the Cathedral Dean. Following the Archbishop’s archpastoral exhortation, Fr. Nephon expressed his gratitude to the Archbishop, the Wardens, and the Cathedral clergy—past and present—for their unwavering support and encouragement.
