Dates: Friday 4th – Monday 7th May 2018
The Youth Festival is an annual event for young adults from around the world, and provides a forum for young people to learn and ask questions about their Orthodox Christian faith. Each year there are talks given by clergy of the Orthodox Church relating to a specific yearly theme that aim to teach us about our Orthodox faith, and also discussion groups and workshops covering topics of importance to our daily lives. In addition, there will be a daily cycle of morning and evening prayers, chances to socialize and talk with other participants and clergy, walks in the local countryside, activities, workshops, and games together.
The Festival is open and relevant to Orthodox Christians between 18-35 years of age and also to those interested in finding out more about the Orthodox Christian faith. This long weekend is a great way to meet and make new friends, and is not to be missed! In the past, the Festival has also attracted people from abroad: including Scotland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Romania, The Netherlands, Russia, America, Canada, Hungary, Cyprus, Iceland, and even as far as Australia.
